T Reduce The Risk Of Electric Shock Do No UseOn Wet Surfaces. Do No Expose To Rain. Store Indoors.
Exception: The wording “To Reduce The Risk Of Electric Shock Do Not Use On Wet Surfaces. Do NotExpose To Rain.” Need not be required for battery operated saws, rated 30 V dc or less.
The words “WARNING” and “DANGER” in letters not less that 3/32 in. (2.4 mm) high with the remainingwording easily readable by the user.
The above required markings shall be permanent and located on the pole where readily visible to the userand are not subjected to abrasion during normal usage of the pole.
instruction Manual: The instruction manual is also required to include the statements, or equivalentstatements, as noted above under Markings. Pictoria representation of these hazards shall also beincluded in the manual.(Example:ISO/DIS 11680-1,Annex D).
Performance Requirements: – ln addition to the lnsulating Handle Tests, Sec. 46.3, the grasping surfaceof the pole potential of 1000 volts applied between all grasping surfaces and the cutting blade for a periodof one minute.
