drytype transformer: A transformer in which the core and coils are in a gaseous or drycompound insulating medium.
non-ventilated dry-type transformer: A dry-type transformer that is so constructed as toprovide no intentional circulation of external air through the transformer and operating at zerogauge pressure.
sealed transformer: A dry-type transformer with a hermetically sealed tank.
ventilated dry-type transformer: A dry-type transformer that is so constructed that the ambientair may circulate through its enclosure to cool the transformer core and windings
