This specification outlines the industry standards that have been agreed upon to demonstrate compliance with the requirements (“the Rules”) for normal category airplanes. Only those standards that are deemed mature enough for general use in certification projects and have been approved by committee consensus for submission to the CAAs as a means of compliance with their rules are included.
In the event that the requirements of one particular CAA do not align with those of another, the standards will be written to include both the non-harmonized and harmonized requirements, along with their applicable scope defined within the standard.
