ASTM F2012-18e1 covers performance requirements, test methods and marking requirements to promote safe use of a stationary activity center by an occupant.
Performance Requirements
NOTE 2-The forces which are to be applied to the sample in the tests described in Section 7 of this standard are readily applied by means of a calibrated force gauge, or in the case of static load and dynamic load tests by dead weights.

Instructions shall be provided with the product and shall be easy to read and understand and shall be in the English language at a minimum. These instructions shall include information on assembly, maintenance, cleaning,and use,where applicable.
