This practice is intended to provide a list of standard procedures for test programs investigating the chemical resistance of a geomembrane with a liquid waste, leachate,chemical.
This practice should be used in the absence of other specifications required for the particular situation being ad-dressed.
Determine the number and dimensions of the test specimens according to the requirements of the dimensional measurements and physical/chemical property tests to be performed, the duration of the immersion, and the number oftest intervals.
