3.0REQUIREMENTS
3.1General
3.1.1The required cleanness level for items shall be as specified on the design drawing or the procurementdocument.
3.1.2The required class of contamination barrier shall be as specified on the design drawing or thprocurement document .

All materials/devices in intimate contact with a significant surface or sealed within an intimatebarrier shall be as clean as required for the item, The material in direct contact with the itemshall not deposit contamination on the item to an extent greater than that permitted in the applicablecleanness requirements.

3,1.3,1.2Class 2 — Anti-static Polyethylene: Material used for film or bags shall be6 Mils thick, The material shall possess anti-gtatic properties; it shall have maximum surface resistivity of 2 x 10 ohm8,when tested in accordance with ASTMD257-66 and a maximum bleed-off of 2 seconds for 5,000 volts 8tatic electricity,when tested in accordance with Method 4046 of Federal Test Method Standard 101.
Class 3 – Nylon: Material used for film or bags shall be transparent thermoplastic,low sloughing nylon 6, 2 Mils thick.
