1.0 SCOPE This standard provides a method for the packaging of a multiple of items individually separated with interleaving material within a box.

3.0 REQUIREMENTS
3.1 GENERAL
3. 1. 1 Requirements of NAS 850 are a part of this standard except as noted herein.
3.2 UNIT PACKAGING
3.2.1The quantity per unit package shall be as follows, unless otherwisespecified by the procurement document:
Multiples of ten (10) items not to exceed one hundred (100)items，or 20 Ibs.
3.2,2 Interleave individual items using materials which will provide adequateprotection.
3,2.3Place interleaved items in a container (e.g., fiberboard, set-up, foldingplastic, etc,). Void filler shall be used to protect and restrict movementof the items.
3.2.4Close the container by any method which allows opening and reclosingwithout damage to the container or contents.INTERMEDIATE PACKAGING

3.3.1 Intermediate packaging shall be in accordance with applicable require-ments of NAS 805
3.4PACKING
3,41 Exterior packing shall be in accordance with applicable requirementsof NAS 850
3.5MARKING
3.5.1Unit intermediate, and exterior containers shall be marked in accordancewith applicable requirements of NAS 850
