SCOPE
1.1Scope – This specification establishes the requirements for material, construction, heat treatmentsurface roughness, protective finish, and quality control of positive locking quick release pins, single anddouble acting.
1.2
Classification – Quick-release pins shall be of the following classes as specified (see 6.2):
Class I – Single acting pins: A push on the release button releases the locking mechanism(NAS1333-1346).
Class ll – Double acting pins: A push or pull on the release button or handle releases the lockingmechanism(NAS1353 -1366)
